Heroes

May 20, 2009

On this blue planet there are several heroes, but none as great as Chuck Norris himself.  People call superman  “the man of steel”, but Chuck Norris is “the man of uranium”.  He has enough energy pack into his 175 pound frame to power a light bulb for 13,650 years by just staring at it.  If that does not qualify him to be a hero I don’t know what will. Chuck also starred as the lead role in a show where he protected the state of Texas from crime and wrong-doers for over a decade.  On top of his acting career in which he starred in several medium quality low budget action movies, he was also a champion and hero of martial arts.  Chuck started martial arts at a young age and by the age of 27 was the North American martial arts champion ( no joke).  On top of that, Mr.Norris created his own very hero-like martial art form called Chun Kuk Do which was based on Tang Soo Do, a traditional Taiwanese martial art. Out of all of his acts of heroism his most was the way he spread martial arts to the youth of our country.  In 2005 he started his own charity called KickStart which is founded by the league he created titled The World Combat League.  KickStart assists in helping kids stay drug free and avoid gangs through years of martial arts training focused on discipline.  If Chuck Norris isn’t the greatest hero ever then he will fight you.
